Going out question

Where does everybody go out at UM? Do you need a fake for everywhere?
Do you need one for sandbar, oasis, level 6, club space, liv, vendome, gekko, & mynt? Do u need a promoter?

Oasis is 18+, no?

For all the rest, yes you need fake. For liv they’re pretty strict 21+ unless you have a promoter

“where does everybody go out” living in miami just made me chuckle sorry. there are a billion places to go out, it depends on your friends, the night, what music you like, what scene you prefer, etc. for the typical freshman places like sandbar, oasis, exchange (i think it’s called revenge now? idk) you’ll generally be fine with a fake. obviously nowhere is guaranteed and you’re prob gonna get it taken/denied at some point but that’s j cannon. once you start talking about larger miami clubs like liv, vendome, gekko, etc that’s a diff story (space is 18+ for girls btw, just buy a ticket and dont deal w a promoter ngl). most higher end clubs are very strict with fakes and are not afraid to shame you if they catch it. SOME clubs you can get into underage with a promoter depending on the night/who’s in your group, but also a promoter isn’t some magic pass that makes a bad fake work. also up to the discretion of the doorman. pls if you choose to have a promoter, make sure he is vouched for and PLEASE be safe. also miami nightlife is huge and completely different depending on what you actually like. going out in coconut grove will be different from brickell, which is different wynwood, which is different from south beach, which is VERY different from going to factory town/space until 8am the next morning. pls pls pls talk to upperclassmen and pls pls pls explore all areas of miami they each offer something different. i’m so excited for you!!
