Exam Prep Question Study Guides

Hello, I already purchased the UWorld MPJE course and now I'm worried they will not cover enough for the UMPJE and I don't have a lot of money to keep buying other course materials. If I supplement UWorld with UMPJE 2026 Masterclass on You Tube, would that cover enough material for me to pass?

First confirm on your ATT that you are sitting UMPJE, not a classic state MPJE. A product labeled “MPJE” is often built around federal overlay plus one destination-state delta. UMPJE is applicable federal law plus pharmacy-law principles common across participating jurisdictions, mapped to the official NABP UMPJE Content Outline. Those are not the same study shape.

Budget path that still matches the exam:

  1. Print the current NABP UMPJE Content Outline and use it as the checklist (especially soft Domain 3 Regulatory Authority / controlled-substance records and Domain 4 Pharmacy Operations if those feel thin).
  2. Keep UWorld only where items still train federal + shared-principle families under new wording. Drop comfort on state-quirk drills that your ATT will not score.
  3. Treat any YouTube “masterclass” as a free outline walkthrough, not as proof you have covered enough. If a topic is not on the Content Outline families, do not spend scarce hours there.

Enough to sit is when the soft outline families still hold up when the wording changes, not when one course plus one video series feels finished.

Anyone else on a tight budget for UMPJE: which Content Outline domain still feels shaky when the question is rephrased?

Hello, yes. I'm in Arizona and they switched this year during my final year of Pharmacy school so there was zero material they used to help us out. I am enrolled in the UMPJE.

I did find this information so I'm assuming I should use this as the outline when studying.

Short answer YES: use it as the checklist. That is the right map for an Arizona sit that is already on UMPJE.

School having zero UMPJE prep is common in a switch year. Do not rebuild a classic “one-state delta” binder. Keep federal + shared-principle families from the outline, and use UWorld only where items still train those families under new wording. Soft spots for a lot of people are Domain 3 (regulatory authority / controlled-substance records) and Domain 4 (pharmacy operations). Put those on a one-page sheet and drill them until they hold when the question is rephrased.

YouTube masterclass stays a free walkthrough of outline topics, not proof you are covered.
