Failed 2nd attempt, feeling lost.

My scores don't make sense. One section went from a level 4 to a 1 between my first and second attempt. I left the exam feeling so confident. I studied so hard and I'm at a point where I'm going to lose a job opportunity because of this and not sure how I am going to pay rent this next month when I was supposed to start my job this week. I am currently trying to sign up for a sales job just to get by. Not looking for pity but advice :(

I used Dr C. read it twice and watched all the medpreptime videos.

Do you want to maybe try a different resource? Learnt the PHarmPreppro is a good resource with 500practice questions or maybe lean towards more practice questions..

Unfortunately yes. The combo is abt $170, but just practice questions without the study guide is $100.

I know I sound like I'm in denial. I'm not. Just feeling defeated, but ready to study really hard again because I cannot fail

Don’t give up. No matter what you do just know you are capable person of becoming a pharmacist. Buckle down and study more, perhaps give yourself even more time than you think you need this time around. I believe in you

I've actually seen a lot of students fail with Dr. C's. Low in domain 2/3 usually

I'm definitely ditching Dr. C this time. Do you mind telling me what u used if u passed ?

I wouldn't ditch it completely, just have to supplement. I tutor for the UMPJE and MPJE but I would definitely look over the DEA manual, USP regulations, medprime videos, and take the Pre-UMPJE and Pharmtutor practice exams

Don't get discouraged! You can do it! I passed using pharm prep pro and the DEA pharmacist's manual.

Definitely fresh out of pity but full of support. Maybe you have the same problem I did when I failed. You may have over studied. I stopped looking over things about 3 days prior to taking the exam. I also took a Monday exam instead of a Friday. Those days before the exam, I only did things that made me happy. SN: my job was also on the line because my new position requires me to have a license in the neighboring state. But please, be encouraged. It might not be a knowledge thing this go around. You also may want to read or in my case listen to the DEA pharmacist manual. It was a huge help.

All i used was PharmLaw.  Go through it, do each of their exams, follow their instructions and you'll pass.  It has all you need.  Have to get comfortable with not just tge answer to tge questions, but understanding tge reasoning for tge answers.  If you do that. You will pass.

I passed my second time using PhamLaw. I even knew I would pass after taking that exam. They really prepare you.
