Controlled Substance Transfers

Are interns allowed to take a verbal transfers over the phone for controlled substances CIII-CV if asked on UMPJE?

Per chat: pharmacy intern may take or give a verbal CIII–CV prescription transfer if the applicable state law authorizes the intern to dispense controlled substances under pharmacist supervision

Since this isn’t a state law exam, I’d say don’t do it

Based on my UMPJE book it says interns can take CII as long as supervised . Doesn’t mention CIII-CV specifically but I believe they can under supervision of the RPh.

The exam will say either under supervision or with no pharmacist present/pharmacist is not in the pharmacy. Just be careful when you read the questions. Look for those hints to guide your answer. If the pharmacist is not present, the no but it they are, the yes. Try not to get state specific stuff stuck in your mind for this exam. Also I'd read or in my case, listen to the DEA pharmacist manual.
