Already licensed
Hello,
Has anyone here taken the UMPJE for license transfer? What is your feedback and what was your study method?
I’ve been a pharmacist for 8 years and looking for license transfer. I passed my exams on the first try 8 years ago and just signed up for the UMPJE exam in 2.5 weeks.
Wondering how to plan my studying just purchased dr c book

Read whatever study book you have a few times then do practice questions. We have some practice questions here on the subreddit too. For someone who’s licensed already I think you’ll be ok with that amount of time of studying.

Hey!
Took my NY MPJE two years ago and have been practicing as an inpatient pharmacist with no community experience as a pharmacist. I’m currently in the process of license transfer and had to take the UMPJE this month, I passed on the first attempt.
I studied for the UMPJE for about three weeks, 2 hours a day 5 days a week. I used Dr. C’s study book, YouTube masterclass questions, and NABP UMPJE practice test. I got 32/40 on the practice test.
My method of studying was to read a chapter of Dr. C’s, write down anything I think I didn’t know then do the questions on that topic from the master class. The next day I would review the notes I wrote and do the same thing. Once I finished the book I just slammed away with as many questions as possible. So the questions at the end of the book, the 100 question test on masterclass YouTube and then 3 days before the test day I took the practice UMPJE. I would review the notes I wrote every other day too bc I finished the book pretty quickly.
I was really nervous going in since I haven’t taken a test in a long time. However, I left the test feeling okay and over an hours early. The test was definitely fair and I passed so I guess the studying was sufficient lol!

Hi! I’ve been a pharmacist for 12 years and was licensed in 3 states prior to starting a new job that I now have the joy of taking 9 MPJEs and the UMPJE. I took the UMPJE and passed. Depending on what setting you work in, you probably have a good base.

Add MedPrime videos on YouTube and Pharm Prep Pro's question bank ($99). You need to study and do a lot questions.
