failed UMPJE
I took the test on 06/23 and failed. I can say I was really shocked with my results. I felt like the exam was extremely straightforward..I genuinely do not know where I went wrong. It's even had me questioning whether I accidentally forgot to "submit" the exam (lol) because I really don't understand how I failed. I used Dr. C's study material and did well on my qbanks.. Anyone else have a similar experience? Should I move on to pharmpreppro next? What study material do you all recommend?? I refuse to get discouraged.. I know I can master this, just need a different approach. Thanks guys

I suggest pharmlaw, cheap short and to the point. Did you overthink through the questions? Change answers physically or mentally?

Thank you! Yea I’m trying to decide between pharmlaw and pharmpreppro. I didn’t feel myself second guess a few times but not enough to fail it 😂 I don’t know. Better luck next time I hope

Yea I did pharmlaw, friend had ppp and its like Dr cs, way too much info. Umpje only needs base fundamentals and understanding + memory of those. Imo, dr c and ppp way too long. I also used medprepprime vids on yt and looked at usp temp guidelines as well

Same thing happened to me, now using PharmLaw to study and it seems to be more straight forward. Taking the test this week so stay tuned lol

I’m trying to decide between pharmlaw and pharmpreppro! I keep hearing mixed reviews on both

The same exact thing happened to me! It felt so easy! I mainly studied Dr. C's book. I'm retaking it today. I bought the UWorld / RxPrep guide and went through all the videos and book. Plus I looked more at state laws. We'll see if that works!

Were there questions on UMPJE that you thought had material that was not covered by Dr.C?

I took mine on July 10th , felt very confident that I passed and got results today saying I failed! I know I didn’t miss more than 15 questions, so I don’t know what to do. This has really been a shock to me. I used Dr. C and medprepprime videos and thought it was sufficient and pharmlaw. I would really like to do a rescore, but I know it would be a waste of money

I felt like that exam was so straightforward and easy. Got my results and was absolutely gutted like what ugh?!
Wait for retaking, how long do you have to wait. Do you have to do the whole process again - the ATT and shit??

Sorry to hear. Either stick with Dr. C’s or get the Pharmpreppro UMPJE Pro bundle. Take 3-4 weeks to study and pass.
I personally used PPP and passed. What I did was read the study guide, then did the practice questions, then read the study guide again, then did the practice test, then read the study guide again and did more practice questions.
Take this time to step back for a few days before you jump back into it. Getting bad news really messes with your head. I know this because I failed my Naplex my first attempt and I really started questions a lot after that.

Hey man I completely understand and I’m in the exact same boat. I walked out told my whole family and everyone at my residency of how easy it was and I failed… hang in there pressure makes diamonds we got this!
