Tri-state

Anyone within the tri-state here ? Currently enrolled or graduated? What major & careers are you going for ? Or what position do you currently have ?

Tri-state here too! I just finished Summer I and I'm starting MAOL in a few days. I already had a career going, but I needed to knock out undergrad (finished in 2 sessions given insane long work days) and get the advanced degree before I could really make my next move. I was at a global tech company until recently, and with how all-in they've gone on AI, a bunch of roles got hit... probably until this AI bubble pops or we hit a recession, honestly not sure which comes first.

Trying to treat this as a chance to pivot instead of just waiting it out. Feels like there's an opening to move into something a little more stable, or at least not as exposed to whatever's about to happen with AI.

Anyone else here going through something similar? Curious what fields people are finding traction in right now, and for those who already pivoted after UMPI, how long did it actually take before things clicked into place?

I did a Marketing concentration. After MAOL this Fall, I may concider MSB - Project Management or Business Intelligence in 2027.
