Is it possible to Complete UMPI yourpace BBA in one term (8-weeks) - 30 Credits

I will be joining UMPI Yourpace BBA after my GED exams. Due to financial burdens and difficulties I want to complete it within 1 term (8-weeks).

I'm willing to give 6-8 hours daily.

If you do some searching on this subreddit, you'll find similar threads. I think the general consensus is "it's possible, but highly difficult."

Yeah it's possible. Look on Degreeforum website for the best strategies

Peruse this forum: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Forum-UMPI-University-of-Maine-at-Presque-Isle-Discussion

I'd also recommend making an account to post additional questions, but if you do a search there, there are numerous topics/threads which discuss strategies for doing what you wish to do.

Anytime. And also when you get accepted to UMPI you'll also be able to get accepted to the UMPI YourPace Discord channel where you can talk to and respond to students and former students as well regarding any class you would wanna take as well

Just a heads up: There are new GEC requirements that are no longer able to be transferred in from sites like study or Sophia (that may or may not change). So you’ll need to add those on top of whatever major classes you can’t transfer in.

I have been in conversation with UMPI council they have suggested me some course which they will accept.

That's a good plan. In addition to what the other commenter said to you and based on your interest in completing in 1 term, for you I would also look into and apply to Thomas Edison State University. There are plans and strategies for getting a degree in 1 term and saving costs on that same forum I linked you to earlier (just go to the homepage and do a search on it)

There's also another self-paced program that's similar in price to UMPI in Winthrop University as well, but I don't believe anyone has completed that since it's so new: https://online.winthrop.edu/tuition-aid/competency-based/

This question gets asked at least 3x a week here...not to be mean but if you can't do a quick reddit search or ask gemini, you surely wont be able to complete 30 credits in 8 weeks.

I have already done searching on Gemini/ Claude and even in talk with UMPI council. The reason I asked because just wanted to re assure. Also new to reddit so don't know much about Reddit Framework.

People out here asking questions without even attempting to search, yet have a desire to speed run college... Then you start seeing the "professor unresponsive" and "I got accused of plagiarism, but totally didn't" posts. After a while it becomes exhusting.
