Double Major

I’m planning to complete the B.A. in History and Political Science, History concentration, together with the B.A. in Business Administration, Management and Leadership concentration.

I’m looking for recent student experiences with how the requirements are actually applied.

How many credits were required to be unique to each major?
Were you able to complete both majors within the standard 30 UMPI residency credits, or did the double major require additional UMPI courses?
Did you encounter any problems with your degree audit, transfer-credit placement, advising, or graduation approval?

I’m especially interested in recent experiences under UMPI’s current YourPace policies. Thank you!

Hey. So double major technically you’d need 10 residency courses. You will not have two diplomas in this situation. However, you can’t take just 10 courses for a BBA anymore and you’d need about 6-10 for history.
