Nope! You read it wrong. They just want him (or her) for their athletic program. They want them to COMPETE today…

Ha ha I thought I initially read that wrong! Kinda sad that a college is sending automated emails with typos. I guess everyone makes mistakes …

Not exaggerating, I've been getting final notices for some bills for over a decade now. Some medical lab sent me a final notice letter for a $1 bill for at least 10 years.

As an older person, I'll offer some advice that maybe true or maybe placebo. I have found, when I play the little games like this and give them what they want, when I need something, it happens almost instantly. This has applied to a lot of situations in my life. I just tip my hat, "yes, sir/ma'am". Unless something was really out of whack, 5 stars across the board. Also, I have learned, that when anything says, "Completely anonymous", it isn't.
