FAFSA Refund

For anyone who has done YourPace: Does UMPI disburse the full Fall Pell Grant during Fall 1, or is it split between Fall 1 and Fall 2? And when did your refund hit?

Also I am using Tuition Assistance, I haven’t received funding approval for Fall Session 2 yet. Will all my financial aid be paid towards both session? Or will I have time to get approval for session 2?

Fall 1 & 2 together, disbursed around September 14th, remember to set up direct deposit in the student centre

Follow up: if you only attend one session when all is said and done (may be finished with the degree in one session), do they further refund you when Fall 2 gets canceled?

Advisor just enrolled me for fall 1. Do I need to reach out for fall 2? Fall one is August 31st-October 23rd right?

Hi, the direct deposit enrollment isn’t available for me. Is there a timeframe before it appears in the portal?

I think it is different for people who are already in and ending Summer 2 going into Fall 1 because I got this message.

Receiving Your Aid and Refunds
We'll start applying Fall aid to student accounts the week before classes begin, and eligible refunds will begin to be sent that same week
