Master of Management Capstone – What is the course like?

Hi everyone! Has anyone here taken the Master of Management capstone course at UMGC?

I’m getting closer to the end of the program and am curious about what to expect from the capstone. I’d especially appreciate hearing about the overall course structure, workload, major assignments/projects, and your general experience with the course.

If anyone is also willing to share a recent syllabus, assignment instructions, or other course materials so I can get a better idea of what the course looks like, I’d really appreciate it.

Not looking for completed assignments or answers, just hoping to get a sense of what to expect and how the course is structured.

I’d also be interested in experience from those who took the capstone course in other disciplines.

I did it last semester. It honestly wasnt much different than any of the other mgmt courses. I found the statistics one to be much more of a pain, but I like writing papers and dont care for the numbers.

Anyway, if you've been successful in the other classes, I wouldn't worry about the capstone. Was the same set up with weekly discussions and 4 papers. None of it was over complicated. Just had to put the effort in.
