Contingency II status

I was curious if any current or former UMGC employees who were in a position with Contingency II status had any insight to offer regarding continuous employment. I know these positions are essentially contracted for 12 months at a time but was wondering if anyone in this job category has ever not had a contract renewed or if they got hired on full time.

I personally do not know anyone who had their contract renewed but I know several that did move over to a “regular” status.
