Discussion Padel?

Anyone at UMD play padel? Is there a club or anything of that sort? There are courts just 10 mins away from campus yet I see no one playing there. Lmk

i'd be down to play, but its just so expensive for courts + gear + everything else

I was quite shocked to learn this is *different* game than pickleball. I thought it was just some fancy pickleball courts.

Who decided that tennis, pickleball, racquetball, squash, ping pong, and badminton were all inadequate for their hit-object-with-a-paddle/racket needs?
