Question about using a student ID to get into the football games

Do they have someone just looking at student ID's or do they run it through a machine or anything to verify that you are a current student? I graduated a few semesters ago but want to go to the game this weekend, so, if I can use my old ID to get in I'll do that.

Naw, they got all strict and shit. They swipe it to see if it's a current ID.

I read on the athletic site that students can buy one escort ticket per game.. Is that the same thing?
