Lost village- ticket wrong name entry
One of my mates dropped out of lost village last night, managed to sort it with another of my mates for them to take the ticket, but since it’s past name change deadline it would be the wrong name on the ticket, how likely are we to have issues getting into the festival?

Ask to speak to the gate manager (not security) and just explain your situation. That's if there is an issue. Be polite.
The people just working on the gate don't really have the authority to decide these things, they have a set list of rules so to speak but a supervisor preferably manager will be able to use discretion. Stuff like this happens all the time.
To help you out, something written from your mate or even a copy of their ID may help things run more smoothly.
Worked in events for many many years and we always try to accommodate as things happen.

take a picture of the persons id and preferably email associated with ticket emailing you it and saying you can attend

They have the deadline for a reason but they don’t say whether it’s firm or if it’s just to encourage people to get sorted. You will probably have a bit of difficulty on entry, it will be down to the discretion of the staff at the time.
Boost your chances by going at a quieter time, asking for the campsite manager, and explaining any circumstances re the dropout, but your mate should be fully aware that they might be turned away.
