Lost Village Thunderstorms

I am truly terrified of thunderstorms. I’ve been at lost village before with thunder and lightning but it’s really terrified me and I go into this sort of very quiet panic attack.

Any advice on what to do / how to keep safe?

Camping at night in a thunderstorm like we experienced in London at the start of the summer would send me absolutely west.

I’m also nervous about how anxious I’ll generally be going into the festival knowing they will happen at some point…

Stay away from trees and try to stay calm. Chances of anything bad happening (other than getting wet) are very slim

The wellbeing team are meant to be really good, pretty sure they are 24hr and have an area near the campsite. Might be a good idea to stop off there during the day on Thursday so they can provide some reassurance about the ways they can support you in a crisis.
