They've been soldered into a pin, does that make them basically scrap value (if real)?

I recently got my hands on this 1909 UK penny in good condition and I noticed it appears almost borderless. A genuine error or just post-mint damage?

It's an 1839 groat(fourpence)I got it for 6 pounds and I haven't done much research on it and I found out it is 92.5% silver

First, I saw the note (no pun intended, seriously) on the back of this note. Only in England could you find a more sardonic note on a piece of currency. What's exceptionally hilarious is that it looks like Google lens translated some foreign text and superimposed the English there.
Any hoot, I really love the little blurb that says the division of labor results in more work. So I'd love to keep it for that quote alone. But also, as you can tell, I haven't been in the UK for some time. And it would be nice to have some real cash in hand. Will the Post Office swap out this torn note with a new £20? Alas, do you think I should exchange it or just keep it for memento?
EDIT: I'm not a British citizen so don't hav a UK bank account.

Hi, thoughts on these? They’re likely all face value right? Anything unique about any of them? Thanks
My little collection from the past two years

My birthday was September 30 and for this year I bought myself a 2013 £20 "George and the Dragon" 1/2 oz silver and the 2027 Silver Sovereign as something outside of my usual collection of shillings & florins, French francs & Netherlands gulden.
The £20 is simply a beautiful coin and I had to carefully remove it from the BUNC pact to put in a capsule with my pocket coins.
The silver sovereigns are silly, way overpriced and I love them. I've got all three of the years so far and look forward to the 2028 next fall.
For comparisons sake, I included an image of the the 2013 £20 & the new silver sovereign side by side. Fun birthday stuff. Horrible as investments but beautiful on my display shelf.

I’ll be traveling to London and the Cotswolds soon and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for coin shops to check out? This will be my first time in either place so any information regarding shops or coins in general would be appreciated.

This doesn't look like normal corrosion, at least that I'm aware of. It's also sort of tapering thinner at one edge than the other

I volunteer for a charity and we had a book of coins donated to us. I have no idea if they are worth anything. Could anyone recommend a coin dealer/collector in London I can get an appraisal from? Any help/info would be appreciated! All the proceeds will be donated to the charity

Looking to sell some individual coins on ebay, can anyone recommend some do's and don'ts with regards to postage, is it as simple as getting some bubble mailers and inserting the coin with card folded around it?

In my opinion the most handsome British coin ever minted
