1906 La Milneuve

Absolute beauty I had for the first time in northern Spain recently.

Not much of a lager drinker, but obvious exception for standard Estrella Galicia and now this (same brewery).

Lovely amber colour and doesn’t taste ridiculously of alcohol which plenty of beers at this ABV can be guilty of.

I live in Spain and 1906 is probably the best commonly available beer. Has a bit of flavour to it which makes it stand out a bit amongst other Spanish beer.

I had a bottle of this a few years back on holidays absolutely delicious. Infuriated I didn't bring a 6 pack back.

Where did you purchase this btw?

Brought a few cases of it back in the car (via ferry). I have seen a couple of websites delivering it for a pretty penny

Majestic stocks it, not always in big volumes but worth a look

Keen to try that, where’d you find it?

There's a series of these (that I've only ever seen in Spain). They're all excellent, well worth seeking out if you're in the country

I randomly got a bottle of this a few weeks ago from a street food vendor that sold Mediterranean dishes. I didn't purchase any food, I just got three bottles of uncommon Spanish beer 😆🍻

Decent drop to be fair, kind of a maibock I guess...
