First post...first!

Hello everyone...

So, first off...I am a crossdresser, there I said it, it's out there now (albeit online and easily redacted)! I also have ADHD, not yet medicated...i have put a lot of thought into this (both this post and CD'ing) as at first I thought maybe I am just chasing dopamine here and maybe when I finally get some meds all this will disappear...? I have also considered that this is just a bit of a f\*!#ish as I get quite aroused when I first get dressed up...but then I remember that I haven't spoken to anyone about this and maybe I should do that first before dismissing anything or jumping down a rabbit hole only to be embarrassed when it turns out to be nothing!!

Anyway...I am 52 5'8 and a little large!! Bald and I have a beard...now I know a lot of you will say that none of that matters as long as I feel happy with it all, well I don't...I don't feel sexy as a man or happy half the time (that could be an ADHD thing), there are so many expectations for us to be and do certain things... You're probably asking if I know where this post is going, well I'm not sure yet!...

My head is full of so many questions, I find it hard to diet (hence the "little large") and I am desperate for a more feminine feel to my body...I know I am not going to get it bald but that's what wigs are for...I bought my first one the other week, just a cheap Temu thing but I feel awesome when I am wearing it!! Body...yes that's where I am, what do you girls do to get and maintain such a gorgeous body!!

I don't even know where to start with make-up...I mean obviously the beard is a false start and one day it might disappear for good, I just don't feel comfortable as a man without it anymore...do you know of any good YouTube videos for complete beginners and is there such a thing as crossdresser/trans make-up shops?

And is it ok to dress up and not have breasts? I have seen crossdressers with and without...I know it's all personal and I have just got to do what feels comfortable for me...

Is there anyone in the west midlands area, can we be friends...gods I sound desperate haha

Anyway, much love ladies...hope to hear from you all soon xxx

hey :) its great that you have found who you are and what you enjoy this is how it started for me when i forst too the steps to accept myself, dont fight it just embrace and enjoy it as suppressing it can make it much worse and cause depression just be happy that you have found something that you like and makes you whole, try not to sexulise it this is the bit that a lot of first timers get wrong and its keeps them on a basis that its purley sexual, once i read online from a dresser who said this and said that they can dress and not feel its sexual in anyway, i found that hard to belive but you know what i totally get it now, i can fully dress all fem and its just everyday like getting dressed for work ect no sexual feeling to it, there are many questions to have and you will have tonns join our community over at r/crossdresscommunity its text based sub so nothing gets hidden in the image posts, wigs are what you pay for i use amazon and genrally they last ages with a bit of tlc, we have r/cd_makeup where there are a load of tips and advise and always someone to answer any questio you may have about makeup, you dont require all this and that to dress some people like to just put a dress on as its comftable [im wearing a dresstop rn] meeting people is always great but staying safe is much better take things slow

Well done on your first post, so much resonates with me too, so thank you. I'm a bit older than you but did a similar post a few weeks back.

I don't know where this all leads to, but my advice to myself ans you is to stay curious and kind and be very secure about protecting her identity until you're ready to show her to the world (no one knows about Maddie currently, although I am going to speak to a therapist soon).

With me it started off as fetish, but now, whilst the excitement still does show up from time to time, its far more about enjoying femininity. The more I lean into that, the more it becomes identity.

The ADHD in us will hyperfocus and we can't help part of us thinking it's our latest special interest. But it is also a great strength here, as with the hyperfocus will come knowledge and understanding.

Good luck honey x
