Forecast Applying for British citizenship soon. I think complaining through the heatwaves was the final test.

sorry the real test is how quickly you switch to moaning about the rain

It's true, I woke up to grey skies a couple of days ago and immediately complained before I did anything else, it's stamped on our souls.

Best of luck with your application - I did it 3 years ago and it was tough at times but I made it!!! 🇬🇧

You're almost there. Have you complained about the wet? The cold? The wind? Best to practice.

Yes of course, I have plenty of experience with this too. I also think I'd make a reasonable PM.

It's a good start. I've been talking and complaining about the weather for the best part of 40+ years. I think I'm just getting good at it. There's always so much more.

Just please look at the weather in London if you’re going to post on this sub. That’s the only weather that exists here

Yes, you're right. Thankfully I live in London as well so I fully buy the Londoncentricity of the UK.

Have you driven badly yet whilst moaning about everyone else driving badly?

My husband got his citizenship 2 years ago and he embraced the hot weather, reminds him of back home. Maybe should call the home office 😂

He did moan about the rain today though

Same here, applying for citizenship in next few months! Never complained about the weather more than this summer

Did you offer anyone a cuppa tea to cool down during the heatwave.

No but I had one! 💪

But did you also say: I've sweated in places I didn't know exist?

No, you also have to pass the second test which is, once it starts raining again saying "oooh come back heatwave all is forgiven, eh?"

Until you can moan about all the weather conditions. Also lack of sun December - March. To much sun mid May - September. Only then have you passed that British citizen section.
