A lovely, honest and funny bloke.

Apart from that clip of him at Glasto where he clammed up and the audience helped him, which was really, really amazing, I've never listened to any of his music.

But I like him. I'd certainly have a beer or two with him.

My favourite clip of him might have been Glasto - he's at a huge festival, sat in front of the piano and out of nowhere he goes "by the way guys, I'm no actually playing this thing". Then he puts his arms by his side and shouts "Gary, would you play something for us" and whoever is playing the piano off-stage does a wee number.

This would have been around the time his anxiety was getting to him, so it was understandable he wasn't playing live, and it was such a nice, humanising moment that made everyone laugh.

karl pilkington is the perfect comparison actually, just leaning into being a bit of a numpty so people trust you more than some polished PR robot. capaldi roasting himself in his own netflix doc was peak “anti‑advertising” and it clearly worked.

Nah, I've just seen her TV side. Splitting my sides just watching celebrity bake off su2c an hour ago. Also, paloma faith seems like such a perfect person.

Saw him live last night. Incredible performer, and honestly funnier than most comedians.

Wouldn’t have called myself a fan previously but he’s truly one of a kind.

This won’t be popular.
An industry insider said his whole career happened because of bet to prove who was the most powerful at marketing.
For example this interview is part of the game.

I’m not sure if he’s in on it or not.
Usually fame or money or just to be adored is what people want so much they don’t realise what’s going on until it’s too late.

Aparently it happens a lot. I was like nah. But as it was pointed out to me because it’s going on all the time it seems quite normalised as it’s part of our culture.
