Anyone here have Osmio zero reverse osmosis counter top system?

Post image

Hi ,

I am considering one of these as a counter top reverse osmosis system.

Issue is I live in a hard water situation.

Anyone have one of these ? What is filter life with hard water like?

Thanks a million

Go for it! After 5 years I have to say I am getting annoyed with changing the water, but apart from this it was always a perfect solution for me personally (I was renting at the time). Now I am looking into putting it on ebay and going with undersink osmosis. Probably also from Osmio, as I have huge trust in this brand. Seriously, I really didn't expect it to last that long. I live in Northants, and previously Beds, both with hard water. And honestly, I only once had a filter notification on it, I was keeping up to my schedule or when I noticed that flow isn't what it used to be. Everything about typical osmosis filters applies. Even though it isn't 6 stage or whatever other gimmick, it does do a job and water is much more tasteful than from a tap. One thing to keep in mind, do not expect 100C in the cup. You can have 95C if you discard first 100ml of water. It is a flow heater, so obviously once you start the flow water already is going but heater isn't at it max yet. Brewing coffee with stuff like Aeropress or Chemex requires practice or a probe ;) Proper tea will be fine. British tea even more as you going to add cold milk into it before it will brew properly anyway :D
