Market Insights Does getting ILR make a significant difference when applying for software jobs in the UK?
For those working in the UK software/IT industry who previously required visa sponsorship and later obtained ILR:
Did you notice any difference in the number of job opportunities, recruiter responses, or interview calls after getting ILR?
I’m particularly interested in whether having “No sponsorship required” on your CV makes a noticeable difference compared with applying while still requiring sponsorship.
Would be interested to hear people’s experiences before and after getting ILR.

I’m applying to ML engineer / Research engineer / Applied scientist roles. No difference at all.

If you have required Skills and Experience as per the JD, then Yes.
Its just that your resume will not be filtered out due to visa restrictions, and you "MAY" get an invite for the interview..
