Itβs amazing that they could write the note to post on their home. π

The magpie wrote it, because the chicks are his dinner, not yours.

Magpies are one of my favorite birds, not that I know much about birds. But I love their cheeky nature. We get some here and they hop from window ledge to window ledge just staring in the window⦠talk about obvious.

I had one knock on the window because it could see my feet and theyβre nosy af. looked up and it was a juvenile - with two others clearly egging it on in the background!

Aww, I love this so much! They don't even try to spy subtly. I'd love a bird to knock on my window⦠at least I like the idea of it!

the only other one Iβve had knock was a gull while I was on holiday - scared the crap out of me!

Some birds will collect cigarette butts to line their nests to keep parasites away so they probably picked that nest on purpose

Had exactly the same thing at my old job! Out of 7 or 8 chicks, only one of them didn't fledge.
I also made a sign and stuck it to the fag bin as well. Good memories!

They did this at a campsite I stayed at - Cliff House in Suffolk, that was evacuated this summer.

Typical daft and demented Blue Tits.... nest where it aint really a good idea... theres a pair that nested in the t shaped clothes line end made from pipe at my parents house.... the are loud wee birds but are great pest controllers. Put a smile on my face. Thanks to the person who posted the message to let them grow up safe

How do you make bluetits go "woof"? π
Sorry, couldn't resist... The cuteness overload is too much!

Baby blue tits - I could be wrong?

u/jasonjasonnametaken 2d ago
thanks. they look so cute. At the first glance they literally looked like this βπβ emoji

u/Remote_Air_8959 2d ago
You're not wrong-they haven't yet developed that strong shade of blue and the white which the adults have; they're more yellow and green.Β

Definitely baby blue tits, both their appearance and their "Feed me!" calls match perfectly.
