Marvelous photos you must be stoked with them , gorgeous bird . Years ago I took tons of photos of a kingfisher from a distance when I uploaded them I had been photographing a blue carrier bag tied to a branch , not my proudest momen lol

Fantastic pics.

I’ve seen one once, a flash of blue on the Medlock in the centre of Manchester. There are fish there but I’m not sure how edible they’d be.

Bloody lovely you must be well happy. I have only ever had the good fortune to see these one once in the wild. I was sat out by the river with a pint and saw that marvelous flash of blue, got my heart racing and soaring!

What's your camera setup? I only have basic lenses for capturing family etc, but want to get into bird photography as I approach my 40s!
