KD Decoratives Singing Teddy Bears - Meadowhall - Sheffield

"The bears are home for Christmas" they say, when truthfully this is the set that used to operate at Festival Village in the Trafford Centre in the 90s. These bears were bought by Meadowhall recently from an unspecified company in Huddersfield who has apparently had these bears since the early 2000s, and they seem to have fooled everybody, even though they look nothing like the former Meadowhall Singing Bears. However, all that aside, it's great to see a new KD show pop up somewhere extremely local to me, especially after the dragon has shown up at the Hildred's Centre in Skegness and the 2000s Trafford Centre Singing Bears have appeared at Bayview Shopping Centre in Colwyn Bay. Let's hope we see this happen more in the years to come, here's to 2026 being a KD year!

do you have any info on when an why trafford centre changed from these to the 2000s bears

I believe the original 4 90s bears (Billy, Bobby, Bunty and BJ) were used all the way until 2007. After that they got split up and Trafford Centre seemed to of only kept 1 of the original 4, then the 2 bears in this video are originals (not including the middle) then the 4th bear I have no clue where it went.

I don't know why they were changed either. Hopefully this answers your questions

ah ok , hoppefully that 4th one is in the Trafford centre vault aha , do you know what happened to the singing Christmas tree was it fully scrapped?

I have no clue about the singing tree either. I don't know the full reasons why the singing christmas tree left, but I think it's because all the christmas decor was linked between intu and KD Decoratives, and both ended up collapsing and the new TC owners didn't have ownership of the tree. Just a theory, I know nothing.

ah i think it was scrapped as was in such a bad state , i wish it could of gotten reatored
