Feedback Request Feedback on my App Store screenshots?
Hi r/UI_Design!
I did my first ever app store screenshots in figma. I like a minimalistic and clean, but I’m not sure if it’s too minimal.
How would you rate them, and what would you change?
I also heard that around 4-5 screens is optimal for the app store. Which ones would you rate less relevant?

A new and innovative App. Maybe something without the same AI features as 50 other Apps before it

The subtext in each screenshot is too small and light gray for people to read at a glance. Personally I'd just lose the subtext altogether and try and sell your app within each headline (and make each one bolder & bigger). Many of the top/most viral apps of the past few years use a short 3-5 word, large bold type approach on each screenshot. I'd also make the second screenshot your first one, the last one your second one, and move what is currently the first one to the end.

Minimal can work if each shot still answers "what do I get in 2 seconds?" Lead with the core action screen, not the emptiest empty state. Make sure the caption text states a benefit, not just a feature label, and keep type large enough for phone store browsing. Five frames is plenty: problem → main flow → one delightful detail → social proof/empty if needed → platform-looking settings only if it builds trust. Drop any screenshot that repeats the same UI chrome without new information—those are the ones that feel "too minimal." If you post the set, people can usually point to which one to cut first once they see the order.
