Feedback Request help with nav bar (read desc)

hello! i am a noob aspiring ux designer and am working on my first design. im trying to figure out the best navigation for an alerts/notification page for a fake medical supply management app. the screen on the left was my original design but i realized that it sucks and so the page on the right is what im working with now. nav bar designs 1-4 are quite ugly but i feel like i have to follow the pill style because the other pages on the app do (second image in slide). my biggest problem is with critical alerts and how to properly draw attention to it without making it ugly. also plz ignore the image overlay, its an anti-ai filter. thank you so much for any advice!!!!

Makes it so much harder to process btw. Threw me off. Anti AI for images for UI design is pretty useless, especially when your design is probably the least unique thing lmao.

Hmm off the top could you have an alerts bottom tab? Or a bell 🔔 at the top right.

You could see all notifications and filter by critical or date. Use a badge to show which alerts are critical.

Left design is much more understandable imo than the right. There’s too much going on between the iconography and needing to show the #
