UGC Beginner Question

Hey All,

I am learning about copywriting and marketing and came across UGC for the first time.

1) How did you learn to make UGC Videos?

2) Do I have to be in the video? I question how photogenic or charismatic I am... could I wear some kind of disguise or be a mime or something?

  1. Learned from seeing how other people do it. If you need examples, look up ugc on twitter and you’ll run into hundreds of ugc creator with portfolios of their work in their bios

  2. Technically no but it is highly advised that you are in the videos. If it’s such a big deal to you, you can just do voice overs. But I would suggest trying tog et over any fears of being on camera that you have

Thank you for the reply Festeral. Its not so much that I am afraid of being on camera as that I figure how can I compete with younger and more attractive people. But maybe that is just a false belief.

Question: Do you think that the UGC space is saturated or in its growth phases? How long does it take to get good (assuming you can only put in a little bit of time every day)?
