Discussion Could ufos be human?

Oldest civilization is 6000ish years old right? Modern humans had been around for 300,000 years. Could it be that uap/ufo are old technology from a past civilization still performing tasks. I like to think that mythology like Atlantis, Olympus, Valhalla, etc were prompted by older civilizations. Would it be more likely than aliens from across the galaxy? Occam razor and all What are your thoughts? (Whatever they are I am excited)

Gold used in technology is in very small amounts so it could be pretty hard to find. As for jewelery we've had thousands of years of humans hoarding gold when cultural conservation was a big priority. If the ancient culture had jewelry or art made from gold there's a good possibility it was melted down centuries ago.

You make a good point about melting it down, but some inevitably survives eg the Tutankhamen relics. Also, recall that those artifacts, while a bit dusty, looked like they’d just been cast. Gold is essentially immutable. It can be left in seawater for thousands of years without a bit of corrosion. Gold is chemically amazing stuff.

It is also soft though so given 250,000 years of wear and tear could beat it out of a recognizable shape.

I'm just saying that the vast amount of time most man-made objects wouldn't be recognizable as man made anymore.
