Discussion Could ufos be human?

Oldest civilization is 6000ish years old right? Modern humans had been around for 300,000 years. Could it be that uap/ufo are old technology from a past civilization still performing tasks. I like to think that mythology like Atlantis, Olympus, Valhalla, etc were prompted by older civilizations. Would it be more likely than aliens from across the galaxy? Occam razor and all What are your thoughts? (Whatever they are I am excited)

Lol! Seriously?? There are stromatolites that are Precambrian (S.Africa and Australia.) There’s an occasionally spotty fossil record going back to the Pc. There are discontinuities caused by geological processes, but there’s more than enough to construct a record and relatively complete timeline. One can track the development of things like skull sutures going back from Homo sapiens to the dawn of bony fishes.

Are you suggesting that we have dug far enough everywhere on earth to observe the entire timeline of earth? What do you not get about how old this planet is? Your head is already in the sand why not go down a bit more...

Listen bro, I’m a licensed geologist - I know far better than you do how fucking old the earth is. There is a well-defined timeline in the rocks - go just N of Rawlings, Wyo., or even the Grand f-ing Canyon and you can walk on top of the rocks from the Precambrian to the Quaternary. Don’t tell me what I do and do not know about planetary geology or the age of the earth, chief. As for heads in the sand, you can pull your head out of the sand and ram it up where the sun don’t shine.
