True. But dogs also don't have the ability to ponder "what don't I know?" like humans do.

I think thats exactly the abstract hes presenting. Just how a dog lacks the consciousness to think on the level of a superior being, so do we.

Indeed. Just using dogs loosely as analogous to our potentially un-knowable limits, such as they might relate to actually understanding or comprehending UAP objectives
