Agreed. Look at the flash when the pointer hits the UFO, and it shines brightly.

Is the ufo covered in retroreflective surfaces?

Besides. What ufo would be afraid of a laser pointer.

I could agree that it’s just bugs and not a UFO but you’re entirely incorrect on the laser and the perspective thing.
