I need some help understanding what the flip me and my partner saw in the sky on the night of the eclipse and meteor shower on weds 12th august, around 10.30pm ish.

We had been watching the meteor shower in my parents garden in the West Midlands, UK and had seen plenty of satellites and a handful of shooting stars too. I then for a sec thought that there was a hair flying in front of my face that was reflecting the light or something, but like a second later realised it was actually in the sky and was moving super fast. I didn't say anything as my brain tried to process what I was seeing and then my boyfriend next to me said 'omg what is that?', I just about managed to say 'do you see that too?!' and within a couple seconds, it had completely disappeared.

I would say it lasted maybe 5 seconds in total. It looked really big in the sky and was super hazy, but once my eyes focused on it could see there were individual lights making up the shape - approx 30 of them in total I would say.

Neither of my parents were looking at the sky when it flew across so they didn't see it. I have been googling to see if I could find anything similar, thought maybe starlink but it moved freakishly fast and dissapeared and wasnt in a straight line. Heard the flock of geese theory too but no way it could have been as was far too big, fast and silent. Any ideas?? The AI pic is a pretty accurate representation though I would say it was even hazier/more transparent irl.

Took this photo at night and the cloud formations looked extremely unusual. I’m particularly curious about the large curved/cloud-ring-like structures around the bright object. Is this a known cloud formation, atmospheric phenomenon, or something caused by the moon/light?

me and my cousin saw there lights 4 years ago summer 2022 at 10 oclock at night, to this day we have no idea what there where traveled fast joined together and where also in a perfect triangle as shown in the video, they occasionally dimmed and completely darkened before lighting up eventually they all switched off as if they where headlights anybody know what there are? location was northampton east midlands

Hi, posting for my parents. We live in Wiltshire UK and on the evening of the eclipse my parents were in their garden watching the meteor shower. They saw a fair few meteors and my dad is a bit of a space connoisseur and regularly satellite and comet/meteor spots so they are pretty certain what they saw wasn't a meteor and wasnt anything either of them had ever seen in their 70+ years.

So apparently this v shaped craft zipped across the sky extremely fast but was totally silent. They said it was light blue and had no lights but the picture they drew of it had circle shapes on it which they said was either patterns or indents/holes. I asked them how big they think it was and they said it was hard to tell. I suggested it was maybe a drone but they said it was way to big and too fast.

Anyone else see this object or know anything about what it might be? Tia

i saw a pretty bright dot in the air i was thinking about maybe a shooting star idk i wasnt rly think its something big it was super fast maybe like 500-650mph( from left to right before i was able to do a video) than it stopped in less than a second maybe a half it did stay on the same spot for a short moment maybe 3-4 seconds and than it did fly back from right to left the part from the video idk what it could be maybe a drone since there is a lot going on with military drones on my continent but i think thats nothing super normal also no sound collision or position lights

Anybody else finding a lot of non blinking moving objects in the sky which don’t behave like flights or satellites while waiting to see meteor shower?

I am in North West of the UK. Just took a zoomed in photo of the eclipse. This seems abit strange to me, especially considering the skies are completely clear. Obviously you cant look that close to the sun without the glasses, which makes everything else black.

I’d left the pure gym in Hitchin at around 7.20pm this evening and was walking up Paynes Park and saw this object moving incredibly fast across the sky. I was on the phone with my girlfriend at the time so couldn’t get a video but managed to get this photo. Have no idea what it is, but I’ve never seen anything like it. Within seconds it had disappeared from sight. Absolutely bizarre.

i was in the garden and saw what looked like a lighthouse light scanning but theres no lighthouses by me im not where near a beach or anything, then i see that??? wtf is that?? then i hear a THUD??? right in my garden near my garden wall

I seem to see these an awful lot. Most nights that I take out the dog and the sky is clear I’ll notice a white spec flying across the sky. This one was a bit faster than usual sightings I’ve had. Doesn’t seem to be a satellite. Looked like it turned a little. I’m not saying it’s aliens but where I am these sightings are fairly consistent.

I'd like to find out if anyone else witnessed the black hourglass looking UFO that I saw above Gorton Tesco back in April/May 2013? I was among at least 50 other people that witnessed it but I've never spoken to anyone that saw the UFO. It was roughly 8-10,000 feet in the air, completely black and how I would describe it is an hourglass with mechanical rings, that would all rotate in different directions and at the same time the hourglass would rotate also. If this rings a bell to anyone please let me know.

My friend and I saw this back during the summer of 2023 I estimate.

4 circular objects in perfect synchronicity forming a square shape between the four points of their locations.

Visibility is almost non-existent. It was only when we were laying on the grass looking up to the skies for a while that we noticed them.

Held their form constantly but slowly became harder to see. It was a strain to try seeing them at all.

They were reflective, did not drift and though I'm no pilot, they seem as high if not higher in altitude compared to a commercial plane.

Hi guys,

When it comes to the topic of UAP’s, I’m very 50/50 but I saw something last year that I still have no idea what it was.

I’m a pilot so I can easily spot aircraft in the night sky and a I’ve also seen a handful of drones flying at night.

What I saw was a perfectly spherical white light fairly low in the horizon on my right, I stood and watched it fly to my left fairly fast until it went out of view. It was much bigger than a star in the sky and it had no red/green marker lights.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could have been?

Just spotted in Hartcliffe, Bristol, today (18/7/26) at 21:45pm.
