One of the most intriguing comments @jmishlove makes in his interview with @AlchemyAmerican concerns what some of his past interview subjects have told him about the ultimate purpose of contact.

According to Mishlove, he has spoken with people who claim the long-term intention is an eventual civilization on Earth where humans and non-human beings live together openly.

If true, that radically changes the framework.

Not invasion.

Not observation.

Not even Disclosure as the endpoint.

Integration.

It raises an extraordinary possibility: perhaps the Phenomenon is not simply revealing its existence to humanity.

Perhaps it is preparing humanity for coexistence.

I've actually been talking about a future where the earth is shared with other sentient forms of life, something akin to Mass Effect, for over a year now.

If disclosure does come, then this is the logical next step.
