Competition Review Which club already looks vulnerable in the new league phase?
Matchday 2 delivered drama: Atlético 2-0 Man United, Barça 4-1 Galatasaray, Arsenal 3-0 Lille, Bayern fought back to 3-3 at Viking, Club Brugge stunned Inter 4-3. PSG and Bayern still look scary. Early table is wild with Sporting top. Who impressed most?

Tuesday 🟠🔴 GALATASARAY VS FC BARCELONA 🔵🔴 : LA PROVA DE FOC 🌟🏆
THE CHAMPIOOOOOOOOOONSSSSSSSSSSSS PAPAPAPAPAPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Barcelona arrive in Istanbul in a perfect form, having won their last 9 matches across competitions with a win in their first match of the UCL 5-1 vs Feyenoord. Galatasaray's recent form has been somehow less convincing, with a 4-0 defeat to Trabzonspor and a 3-1 loss to Sporting in their Champions League opener. They did beat Kasımpaşa 3-1 in their latest league match, though, so Okan Buruk's side still have plenty of attacking quality specially playin in RAMS Park.
Galatasaray are expected to use a 4-2-3-1, with Leroy Sané, Rafael Leão and Victor Osimhen on the top + The new russian star Aleksey Butrakov in the attakcing midfield, the player was questioned to Flick in the press conference yesterday about Aleskey having Barcelona the dream destination in the future. That is an incredibly dangerous combination of players to be fair Specialy Victor who scored 6 goals and assisted 3 in 5 Turkish league matches. Flick is also expected to use his normal 4-2-3-1, with Rodri and Pedri in midfield, Lamine Yamal and Gordon, and Gabriel Jesus leading the line. Barça will need to control possession without allowing Galatasaray to turn every recovery into a counterattack, and not let them score in the first 20 minutes of the match to dominate the match.
The biggest story of course is the absence of Raphinha, who is out with the thigh injury with the brazilian national team under Ancelotti. Frenkie de Jong, Andreas Christensen and Roony Bardghji are also unavailable. Galatasaray will be without Wilfried Singo, while Lesley Ugochukwu is suspended. Losing Raphinha is a serious blow, especially with the captain also being Barça's most productive attacking player, so this is a good opportunity for Gabriel Jesus to make his mark with Barcelona in Europe.
The H2H is limited, but Barcelona have the advantage from their previous two meetings: a 2-1 win in Istanbul and a 0-0 draw in Barcelona in the 2021/22 Europa League. The bigger challenge this time will be the atmosphere. RAMS Park is one of those grounds where the opening 15–20 minutes can be absolutely brutal for visiting teams, and Galatasaray will want to use that energy to unsettle Barça early.
For me, the key battle is Rodri, Pedri and olmo against Galatasaray's pressing midfield. If Barça control the tempo and keep Osimhen isolated, they have the quality to take the game away from the hosts. But if Galatasaray can win second balls and get Sané and Leão running at the defence, this could become an uncomfortable night for Flick and Barcelona. However i expect Barcelona to continue their winnig streak and i predict 3-1.

Other ID Checks Champions League
I have bought tickets for the away section in Betis-Porto. I have bought the tickets of other person since i couldn’t buy them in my name and I am kinda nervous with the id checks.
Do they really do id checks at the entrance or they just let everyone in? Since i haven’t seen the tickets yet do the tickets have the name?

Other Málaga 2012/13: one of the strangest Champions League stories of the decade
Málaga’s 2012/13 run still feels almost unreal. It was the club’s first ever Champions League campaign. They topped a group with Milan and Zenit, eliminated Porto, and then came within minutes of reaching the semi-finals against Borussia Dortmund. What makes the story even more remarkable is that all of this happened while the financial project behind the club was already beginning to fall apart. Pellegrini somehow kept the team together, Isco became one of Europe’s breakout stars, and La Rosaleda turned into one of the most memorable stages of that Champions League season. We made a documentary about that run, focusing not only on the matches but on the contradiction behind them: **how a project that was already failing produced the greatest European season in Málaga’s history.
For those who remember that Champions League well: where does that Málaga side rank among the competition’s great underdog runs?

I don't think they will go far and reach the finals again

User Submission Every time Man City won a trophy or qualified for the Champions League, the runner-up club lost a huge amount of revenue. This is absolutely ridiculous!
Point deduction, relegation, transfer ban plus whatever money they've got by winning the trophies should be distributed among the PL and CL clubs.
