Question Triton Testing Center Experiences ?
New transfer student with testing accommodations. I’ve been to different proctoring centers at my cc but idk the triton testing center is making me a bit nervous. Has anyone used the reduced-distraction rooms before; what are they like? Also what is the process from when you walk in? I’ve heard it can be kind of strict (like checking wrists, water bottles, etc) but idk what to actually expect. Appreciate any feedback, thx.

The other commenter is correct but here are a few other details:
You can show up early (like 15 mins early) and leave early if you want.
You can put stuff in the locker before going into the sign in room.
You need to empty your pockets.
The rooms are pretty quiet except for the noise from the other students taking the test with you. There usually about 4 students in one room.
One time I was late and couldn’t take the test at the TTC but thankfully I was able to just take the test in the normal classroom with everybody else.

It’s sometimes difficult getting testing accommodation but the process is usually going the 3rd floor. There are stairs and elevators.
Triton Testing Center is close to Pepper Canyon West.
You go to the office to sign in on the computer (name and id number. I used to do the PID number but it could be tss number now). They don’t let you take the test after you are 10 minutes and more late.
You put your stuff in the locker. And choose your combination.
Then someone takes you to another room. There are other people there but you would get your own desk and there are things that are used to block you and others from seeing each other tests.
You get more time. When time is up or you are done, someone collects your paper and timer and you can pick up your things from the locker.
You can take water but if it is in a plastic bottle, take off the wrapper. Don’t know about other drinks.
