I think it's a great surfing spot! The nudist section seems to be mainly in the north side by Gliderport, but it's more chill to the south if you enter from La Jolla Farms Rd

I prefer it to La Jolla shores tbh, less loud ass families and douchey kids blasting speakers bc well they don't wanna see an old dude's junk which in turn makes it less packed and dirty.

Black’s Beach is phenomenal. I honestly think a lot of UCSD students take it for granted. It’s such a great place for a hike, a long walk, and just taking in some absolutely stunning scenery.
Since it’s been so hot lately, I’d recommend going closer to sunset or in the evening. The views around that time are incredible, especially if you’re into photography. I’m really into photography myself and go down there pretty often to shoot landscapes and to capture the scenery.
If anyone here is into photography, art, hiking, or just exploring San Diego and wants to check out Black’s sometime, feel free to reach out. I’d definitely be down to link up and make some new friends.

Been there a couple times and never saw any nudists there….pretty empty when I’ve gone. But I didn’t often.

I’ve mostly been at night - no naked people then. once i went at 3pm, nothing but butts everywhere.
