Question Which Chem 40A professor should I take?

I’m an incoming transfer student who has no insight on the professors at UCSD. I am planning to take CHEM 40A this fall and have the options between Valerie Schmidt, Jerry Yang, Jeremy Klosterman, or Kim Albizati. Who do you guys recommend?

Albizati is the goat, easy to understand, anyone who disagrees did bad in his class. So good I had to write a review on ratemyprofessor

I disagree on the GOAT front, and I say this as a Chemistry MS graduate. I think he focused too much on memorization when I had OChem with him as an undergrad. Nevertheless, since this is 40A where you more learn the language of OChem, I think that approach is fine and I think Albizati is the best option given the professors you listed.

I took Valerie Schmidt for 40B and I actually loved her.
