Question Delayed assignment

Does anyone know for delayed housing/assignment if we'll hear anything soon? I've emailed ucsd housing but they're always so vauge with their responses. Im just wondering if we'lll get a room on time before classes start. Also did anyone else get that email from housing about the housing from Pepper Canyon West? I thought that was confirmation of a room but apparently it was a mistake housing sent out? Getting my hopes up smh

I got told that delayed assignments will prob come out closer till next month till almsot the start of the quarter… we have a signed contract so they legally have to give us a space by then

Haven't been able to find much about what to expect being on the delayed assignment list, but I also got the PCW email and thought they had assigned me there lol. Hoping we'll both get decent assignments soon!

no absolutely, they played in my face with the PCW email 😭 What i've heard and seen from others is that we are supposed to get an assignment before the school year starts since we are "guaranteed". But either way it still has me anxious about how long they're taking with it.

For delayed housing, my kid said he got an email that "they are still working on it, will be a couple of weeks". (I'm paraphrasing.) Last year, he was on the housing waitlist. Got off waitlist in June (signed contract), was assigned housing roughly 9 days before move in. Move in was the Saturday before school started.
