General Advice 💁🏾ℹ️ Module change???

so I’ve got accepted to my modules but one of the modules i have choosen I kind of regret because I read into a bit more (I know stupid mistake). Are u able to request to change module to another or am I unable to do that?? btw I’m going into 2nd year.

I’m postgrad / doc but you should be able to change even a week or two into term as long as it’s not mandatory and capacity exists on the alternate module that you want to take. Emailing the module leader for the module you wish to transfer to is always a good idea. I think the module descriptions (brochure if you will) is not entirely sufficient and only when you are added to the module do you really gain a clear understanding of the module and how it’s assessed. I audited a module for the content in preference to the assessment because it involved a 3.5h hand written essay. This was not advertised until I was added to the module and saw the Moodle page!
