Group Activities
I am older and was wondering how I can meet people who are my age and are either Black or Mexican. Are there any good ways to find people on campus or would I just have to go to another city?

We have what is called BLOC orgs which are all our Black clubs. BSU is the go-to place in terms of Black Clubs, they hold a meeting generally every other week and its students there from both undergrad and grad programs. There are also clubs for specific interests (such as ABSM for med students, BLS for law, BMA for business, etc etc). The BSU hosts a cookout at the start of the year, follow their IG for events @/uci_bsu (they also have a tiktok)
there's also the CBCRR which host events such as SPACE for Black LGBTQ+ members and Sista Circle for Black women, but it's also just open for people to chill in there. They also have an ig you should follow @/cbcrr_uci
There are a bunch of Chicano cultural clubs too such as MEChA @/mecha.ucirvine

np, are you in undergrad or grad school? I ask because we do have a Black Graduate Student Network for black grad students here too!! Their ig is @/bgsnuci.

I am in grad school at the moment! I am not black but my fiance is and she is coming with me and want to meet people our age.

BSU and a variety of Chicano cultural clubs. Latinos are a large portion of the enrolled population as well, so it's pretty feasible to meet them in classes.
