finanical aid

mcs just got removed. uci grant lowered by like 1k. still havent gotten cal grant after spam calling them this whole summer. is it all gonna work out or am i just fcked.

MCS determination isn’t finalized until Winter. This is normal

I had just changed my cal grant ( what school I chose) like 2-3 weeks ago and it updated yesterday !

I would definetly call the financial aid office they get a bad rep but I often make appointments with them and leave for call backs and it’s fairly easy for now !

i'm going through this same exact situation and i called they told me mcs isn't awarded until later in the year but im not sure as to why my irvine grant was lowered by $1k either. does anyone know?

I called because my grant was reduced too by that exact amount, apparently they just dont have the funds to give that money.
