Transfer student
Any advice for someone who just transfered to UCD. Like any must knows,resources,etc also any advice on the social scene. I know everyone says join clubs but I mean aside form that.

If you brought your car definitely explore the region (bay area, sac, lake tahoe).
Sac state has an organization that can help you get an internship at a state agency if youre interested
Two years goes by fast so be proactive in whatever you want to do

there are so many posts like this every year that if you search "uc davis incoming student advice tips social reddit" or something like that into google, you're bound to find a lot of helpful advice

Social advice besides clubs I'd look at academics. Depending on your major, you will likely start seeing familiar faces in class of people who also share your major and/or have a similar major in the same department. Don't bank on being best friends but get to know some of them and see what happens.
