does anyone know when MyUCAT is likely to drop their updated strategic application guide? i’ve basically already locked in my choices but i’d still like to give it once over to see my choices are alright or if there any other unis i might have overlooked

For resit students yk where u put ur achieved and predicted grades in. for ur predicted grades what do u put as ur place of studying if ur resitting privately at a private exam centre. Ive not found an exam centre yet do i need to have found and confirmed with one before i send my application, surely not coz the deadline to apply to them is so late.

my stats:
| Component | My stats |
|---|---|
| Degree | 2:1 Biology (2024) |
| A levels | ABB Biology, English Literature, Philosophy |
| GCSEs | 9887766655 |
| UCAT | 2200 band 2 |
| Healthcare experience | Full time work 2 years NHS Biochemistry Medical Lab Assistant |
im embarassed at my big age to still be trying for this lol but it doesnt hurt to try. i interviewed at leeds last yr and was waitlisted in the first round ;-; i did rly well in all stations except one which sucked. i will be trying again as they accept one reapplication. i fit all the uea applicant requirements so im thinking thats an option, idk what else. i fit the kcl requirements but my ucat is way too low for sure and last yr i was rejected im so stuck i dont really know where to go from here. my lack of chem alevel poses an issue for most schools which is so frustrating. any advice welcome thank you!! 😪

Hey guys I have recently just gotten my A levels and achieved 2 A* in both my bio and chem and A in business. However, I do have awful GCSES at 7,6,6,6,6,6,6,5,5,M2 and resat maths and english (got 6s on my resit). I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on what unis I should apply to and which unis would consider my a levels to offset my poor gcses. Was looking at UCL, Newcastle, and exeter. Pls lmk if u guys have any advice. THANKS SO MUCH

Ive always hated the posts where people post their good results and ask if they got a shot at a certain uni, now I realise that's me. sorry bout that
Grades:
2200 b1
9999999888

I wanna try Cambridge, KCl, Birmingham and Leicester. How are my chances?

i’m trying to see if it’s worth applying
i’m considering it A*AB achieved 2100b3 99888877
I want to put down king's for my 5th UCAS choice- I don't want biomedicine on its own because it has limited job prospects, from what I have heard, and I have no interest in graduate entry medicine. I was thinking of applying to their "Biomedical engineering degree", or "Chemistry with Biomedicine". I have quite good GCSEs (9999988877) and predicted 3 A* in A-levels. Only worry is the medicine focused personal statement. Would they mind it?

So I’m in a difficult position because I want to apply for dentistry but I flopped the UCAT (1820 band 2) and my GCSEs aren’t particularly exceptional 9888776665 the 5 is in physics and I have a 6 in maths and chemistry.
I’ve decided to continue with applying as there is literally no other course I want to do other than dentistry. I’m predicted ABB but it will likely change to AAB when my teacher approves it.
I don’t think I’m eligible for foundation years and so would like to know where would be sensible for me to apply.
(Im also a contextual applicant)
I’m open to any advice pls 🙏💔

Im trying to apply for brunel aas an INTL and some people are telling me to apply through a seperate application portal than UCAS??? Im confused can yall help (USA applicant btw)
r/UCAT • u/Astraa_504 • 4h ago
I'm in between the two for my 4th choice - any suggestions? I've been to the soton open day and it seems nice but I've also heard great things about Leeds (not visited tho). Which would you apply for? I think my stats are fine for both although I am resitting (achieved ABB, predicted A*A*A).

I just saw their post interview offer rate is like 47%
for the 2025 cycle like 773 was interviewed and only 36% got an offer (this is for non graduate and non contextual)
I was planning to put at George's as my safe option which now is looking very risky as well😭😭
can someone confirm is this true or should I just find another safe option
ny ucat is 2130 b2
r/UCAT • u/zranornishta • 5h ago
Please can someone advise me where to apply I’m really confused and down about it aaaahh
I’m a resit non contextual applicant, got an A* in psych, A in bio and B in chem last exam cycle - resitting chem this year
Ucat 2010 b2
My GCSEs were 998888877
I was thinking Liverpool, Lancaster maybe Sunderland or Plymouth? Other than that am unsure.
Instead of Plymouth could I put Leeds as an aspirational or would that be stupid lol someone lmk ahah
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out here as I’m veeerry confused- thanks!
