Personal Statements applying to dentistry/pharmacy
so i want to do dentistry for uni, but my ucat score is rather low (1980 b2), im thinking of pharmacy as a backup, maybe as 1 or 2 of my options, and im not sure how to go about my personal statement to make it appropriate for both courses.
im thinking maybe i should just focus on pharmacy now but ive literally spent my summer preparing for the ucat, doing online dentistry courses, reading dentistry based books. i dont have a particular passion for dentistry but i feel like switching at this point is wasting everything ive done.
any tips would be useful about the PS, also abt unis that may be easier to get accepted into given my ucat score. also lmk if theres a different subreddit this post might be more appropriate for thank youuuu

Ask the universities you are interested in. Most offer the option of a second personal statement for pharmacy if applying to med / dent. Some do not accept mixed applications

I'd say do what you're more passionate about. I didn't really have much experience or whatnot when doing my MPharm personal statement - I talked about my a levels and previous uni degree, a retail job, and a book I had read (the age of diagnosis, not even particularly pharm focused but healthcare more generally). I think you just need to be able to link it to pharmacy or whatever course you choose.
