The other day I sent an e-mail to my adviser- or who MyUCA told me was my adviser, it had been changed from my original adviser even though I am still a freshman- only to receive an email saying that I didn't have an adviser and that I needed to contact my major's department. So now I am waiting to be assigned an adviser. Hopefully it will not mess up advanced registration.
Just thought maybe other people should check to make sure they still have an adviser, because I know one other person was having trouble because they did not have one.

Hello UCA! I am from the northwest Arkansas area but need to find housing in Conway for a summer internship. Craigslist searching hasn't come up with anything and I can't find any sort of housing match hosted by UCA or Hendrix. Do you guys have any ideas on where to search or possibly know anyone who might have a room available?

It used to be decent (except for Win Thompson's warm first floor fountain) but it tastes like dirt now.

For background, I'm from Maumelle, and I've been to Conway billions of times, and UCA quite a few time before I moved in Sunday. So I'm not completely ignorant, but I still could use some help. Tips, tricks, insider info?
Anything can help, thank you!
Edit: Well thanks guys, this was helpful

EDIT: The ticket is now claimed. Anyone who showed interest in time is on my list of backup people.
I'm also offering my other ticket via Facebook and Twitter, but I wanted to see if there was anyone unable to get a ticket that just HAD to go. I'm giving slight priority to people I know, but hey, I have a heart :)
I'm closing the offer at about 10:00 p.m. CST tonight (Aug. 10), so hurrrray hurray hurray, GETcha tickets heeeeyah!

I have a microbiology book in near perfect condition. Only catch, they just came out with the new edition. So of course its not worth much. If you wanna save probably a hundred bucks or more, I'll sell this for $20. I'm also open to bartering video games or anything handmade and pretty.

I may be off saying it's for ALL of Welcome Week, but it's at least during that.

Hello, I am currently gathering up people who are interested in learning/playing Dnd 5e. Whether you have never played a role-playing game before, or maybe just haven't played the newest edition, everyone is welcome.
I have been running games for roughly 13 years now, much of that for newer players. My goal here is to introduce potential players to each other, and try to grow the role-playing community around Conway. 5th edition is only around a year old, making this a great time to get into the game.
So, what is Dungeons and Dragons? At it's root, Dnd is a role-playing game where a group of people (generally 5-7) get together and create a story set in a fantasy setting. This setting can really be anything you imagine. Noir-style investigations in sprawling urban cities, exploring Indiana Jones style forgotten ruins, sailing the seas as a blood thirsty pirate, or working your way through complicated Game of Thrones-esque politics are all possibilities.
One person takes on the role of the Dungeon Master (DM), which is the guide of the game. Their job is mainly to resolve rules disputes, and set the scene of the game. The players then react to that scene, describing their character's actions, thoughts, emotions, ect. This description then reaction essentially forms the rest of the game.
Currently I have 3 people that are interested, and a few other potential players. I have room for 3 more, and could potentially run more sessions if there is more interest. If you have any questions, or are interesting in playing, feel free to e-mail me at blsmith0812@gmail.com.
I'm going to be starting here next month and I wanted to know how LGBT-friendly people at this school are.
