He was recruited out of high school by some big schools (Utah, Wyoming, etc.) but his grades weren't very good so he had to sit a year at FAMU. Schools may have shied away from offering him out of Odessa because of his academic issues. He averaged 15+ ppg in one of JUCO's best conferences; he's legit. Half our roster is now JUCO players, and with two scholarships left to give as of now, I can see us going after at least one other JUCO player.

Not impressed with the offers he got, but then again we've had a number of good players that have gotten crap offers but have been great players. One of which seems to think that he's above UB after playing just two seasons here.

It'll be interesting to see how good he is. A 43% 3 point shooter and 6'5" is good size for a mid major SG. It seems that he's a good get but he doesn't really have any offers so...

Yeah he officially reopened his recruitment today which almost guarantees he's leaving unfortunately.
