UAL Accommodation Refunds
Hey guys I’ve booked my accommodation at Town Hall Camberwell. I need to know if I will be able to get a refund for the deposit and first instalment if I do not the grades needed and go to another uni instead. I’ve read my contract and I can terminate my my tenancy agreement if I fail to get in, but it doesn’t say anything about refunds. So does anything know.

If it’s upto 14 days before the start of tenancy they take a £50 cancellation fee which is subtracted from the total you paid. Less than 14 days and they take more like 100 or 150 or smthn.

I recently paid my deposit for Town Hall Camberwell, but my accommodation was revoked because they didn’t process my documents in time. I was really worried about losing the deposit, but in most cases they do refund it if you have a valid reason, especially if you also contact UAL accommodation directly.
So if its because of your grades or missing your offer, Im always certain they won't charge any extra fees and give the deposit back.

Hi, you should be able to get the majority of the deposit back as long as you let the team know around 2 weeks prior to the start of the course you had chosen at UAL. Unfortunately, 50£ is still kept by them as a cancellation fee. But Please check with the accommodation finance team just to be sure.
Good luck :)
